The second Pitch Zoo

The second Pitch Zoo event this past Monday (April 1st) was fun — being that it was on April Fool’s Day.  Ryan Goins was the timekeeper and was able to have fun with the chattering teeth and duck calls.  And several people in the crowd used their false teeth when supporting the “pitchers” and asking them questions / providing feedback.

The four “pitchers” did a wonderful job — thanks Daniel May, Kim Sherry, Mark Omwansa, and Sydney Davis.  We had the fourth slot left open for someone in the audience to practice his/her pitch on the spot.  Sydney stepped right in, which was great to see.  This is an excellent example for how Pitch Zoo can benefit people that want to engage with the entrepreneurial environment in Kalamazoo.

Here are several pictures of Daniel, Kim, Mark, and Sydney in action on Monday:

As with the Pitch Zoo event in March, the food that Maria Brennan (The Victorian Bakery) prepared was great — she even attended the event.  The coffee and tea provided by WaterStreet was much needed.  And the atmosphere in general was very relaxing and conducisve to feedback.

The next Pitch Zoo event will be on May 6th, same place (@ Maestro), same time (6:30pm).  RSVP.
